Following the massive success of CirkAfrica, Cirque Phénix is thrilled to announce the second sensational instalment – CirkAfrica2. Join intrepid traveller Jose and a gifted cast from November 15th 2014, and explore the magnificent continent of Africa through music, acrobatics and dance. A combination of comedy stage show and musical, CirkAfrik2 features a live orchestra, impressive stage sets and choreography, and is the perfect choice for a family treat.
Experience the glitter and glamour of the roaring 20’s as Albert Cohen’s fabulous new musical ‘Mistinguett, Queen of the Roaring Twenties’ at Casino de Paris takes you on a sensational journey through the history of music hall. Jeanne Florentine Bourgeois was once the highest paid female entertainer in the world. More commonly known as Mistinguett, she made her debut in 1895 at Casino de Paris, and was famous for her risqué routines and sensational voice. Relive the exciting times of a star whose legs were insured for 500,000 francs in 1919, as a cast of thirty take to the stage in this truly magnificent show.
The premiere of ‘An American in Paris’ from 22nd November to 4th January at Théâtre du Châtelet is one of the most sensational entertainment events of the year. This wonderful musical tells the tale of Jerry Mulligan a US World War II veteran who is trying to make his way as an artist in Paris in a stunning adaptation of the 1951 film. A fabulous original score by George and Ira Gershwin and Saul Chaplin includes hits like ‘Rhapsody in Blue’, and the stage show will feature the famous ballet scene - now beautifully choreographed by Christopher Wheeldon.
